Person 3 (JM)
Since the prayers to Joseph Dutton intercession there has been some change in my condition. Last year after my MRI my doctor noticed the hemangioma has grown. I had to go through radiation therapy to stop the growth of the hemangioma. I got good news from my doctor the hemangioma is now stable. I believe the treatment worked because of the many prayers I received. I do feel better than I did a couple of years ago. I thank the many people who prayed to Joseph Dutton on my behalf.
Person 4
Is praying for a miracle but wishes to remain anonymous.
Person 5 (DJD) [received July 27, 2024]
I am a 74 years old man who worked as a physician detailing my experience as a critical patient in the hospital at the latter month of last year and early this year. I was brought to the hospital emergency room confused and unaware of what was going on around me. I had a cardiac arret and code blue was called by the ER staff, that means I was dead and medical staff were reviving me. I was told by my family and friends that my organs failed. My kidneys, heart and brain shut down. I was sent to the intensive care unit after I was revived by the medical staff. I was on ventilator to breathe, intravenous fluids to keep my circulation going and was placed on a medically induced coma to be able to tolerate the artificial breathing machine. I was not aware of my condition at the time but while lying in the ICU, it was like a dream state. I recalled that I was trying to solve a problem of what my neighbor did that was good and what I have to do to get out of my situation. While I was in very critical condition, a prayer group was established in Hawaii, and prayers from my family and friends in order to survive my ordeals. It was a miracle that I made it. I believe that all the prayers and the intercession of Brother Dutton kept me alive. I am learning that the Lord still have plans for me. It made me realize that God is ultimately in control and gave me a second chance to do much more as a physician and a Christian. My faith is stronger now than before. I extend my gratitude to the nuns in Hawaii who prayed for me, my family, my friends and all the medical staff who cared for me.

We received this message from Facebook:
I commented on the Facebook group page that I have been praying through the intercession of Servant of God Joseph Dutton for my son who has been struggling with alcoholism. Yesterday he let my husband and I know that he realizes he has been using alcohol to deal with his emotions and now feels inspired to deal with what he needs to. I don’t think this breakthrough a coincidence that it happened on Joseph Dutton’s memorial of his death. I will keep you posted on my son’s progress.
Joseph Dutton is doing wonderful things! Keep the favors comin' :)

I would like to tell you of a special favor Joseph Dutton thru Our Lord bestowed on my family living on the island of Molokai and belonging to St. Damien Catholic Church. I have much contact and a special closeness to St. Marianne and Father Damien. Recently I came across a prayer to Joseph Dutton. My oldest grandson was born with hydrocephalus and is now 27 and has many mental health struggles. I decided to invoke Joseph Dutton’s help and put a prayer card on my altar next to my grandson’s photo. Within 2 days he agreed to let his mother help and see him. He has not had contact with his mom for 2 years. It is also his mother’s birthday coming up. My simple prayer was that my grandson had a healed and open heart and mind.
I know and feel in my heart that with Joseph Dutton and our Lord’s help he will continue to thrive and heal.

A Story of Faith, Prayers, and My Journey of Surviving Stage 4 Cancer
I received follow-up CT scans of my chest and abdomen / pelvis on December 10, 2024 holding onto a prayer I have said every single day since Franciscan Sister Geraldine Ching gave me the prayer card of the Servant of God Joseph Dutton this past July. The results left me in awe and gratitude: no increase in the growth of my pulmonary cancer nodules—the largest remains just 13mm—and no cancer detected in my abdomen or pelvis. I have not received any chemotherapy or immunotherapy since this September.
My oncologist informed me on my recent follow up visit how it is truly rare for me to survive this long since diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometrial Cancer in 2019. This diagnosis holds a 5 year survival rate of 15-18%.
I believe I have been carried by faith, by grace, and by the intercession of Servant of God Joseph Dutton.
Every day, I have prayed to Joseph Dutton—a man of incredible compassion, humility, and devotion to those who suffered. His life of service and healing became my refuge when I felt afraid and alone. Through his intercession, I am here today and holding onto the gift of another day.
Next follow up CT Scans are scheduled in 3 months.
